Anyone using a MIDI Bass as controller for Mainstage?
Hi All,
I am trying to gather more information on the success of using a MIDI bass as a controler and pairing it with Mainstage. I am curious to hear the results of your findings. Psyched? Don't bother? Let me know you insights. As a bass player looking to play some phat synth sounds from my bass I'd like to hear from you! Theoretically, it should work but I would like to know about any shortcomings with this idea. I know the bass player from John Legend's band has used Mainstage and some 3rd party plugins but I don't think he controls them via bass, rather though a keystation. I have a map of a my plan of execution and have not yet been able to track down anyone else doing this. Thanks!
